Dear Patron, As has been advertised in weekly Track Talk’s the Board of Management have decided to increase trial prices from the 1st of October 2008, also from this date the structure of trial sessions will change. Trial costs are now: Field Trials $5.00 Tuesday & Wednesday Field Trials will be 4 dogs per field. Handlers will be asked to disclose whether the greyhound is maiden or performed when purchasing tickets. On race nights Field Trials will be 1 open grade (up to 8 greyhounds) over each distance prior to the first race. After the last field trials will be the same as held mid week. Solos/Slips $8.00 This is for all solo trials Tuesdays, Wednesdays & race days after the last. Please note no slips will be conducted on race days. Fightbacks/Private $10.00 Fightbacks are available Tuesday & Wednesday only after all other trials in to the pen have been completed. No fightbacks will be conducted on race days. For private trial bookings please contact the club, please note these will only be held on Tuesday or Wednesdays. Trial structures will now be in the following format: Handlers must purchase tickets prior to the start of the session through the office and present all tickets to the starter. No tickets will be purchased at the boxes. Trials will commence from 600m through to 300m and 270 slips. We ask you make your best attempt to ensure that you are at the boxes on time for trials to run smoothly and quickly. You will be advised when purchasing your ticket what trial you will be in. To assist in change over happening as smoothly as possible we ask also that you please inform any other greyhound trainers you know of our new arrangements.
